Guys.... guys.... I've been reassured here on OSA that Democrats aren't out to compromise our 2A rights and that Democrats and Republicans are the same when it comes to 2A issues. Because Reagan.
Democrats are not out to compromise 2A rights. The super liberal arm of the Democratic party pushes the issue.
I've wondered why and came to the following conclusion:
The party intended to become the "everyone gets a trophy" party, everyone gets a free ride, every pereversion is "OK", bring as many illegals in as possible and so on. This was the ill thought out plan to create a super party of voting dems to overwhelm the election process.
Sounded good but, it backfired.
The backbone of the Democratic party, were comprised of conservative hard working people that loved their country but had compassion for those in need that were willing to make their own life better. Not a free ride.
I keep saying that Dems (or former dems) elected Trump. They also elected state Gov's, and legislators.
The party is funded by folks like Matt Damon (the prick) and other mega wealthy citizens of OZ. If pardine shift in the platform, it will be even less effective than it is now.
The party did great things but it has lost its way. Someone needs to right the ship, just as the GOP. Both need to get back on their meds.

Yeppers...

...just about everyone in my family when I was growing up were Democrats. They are the ones that lived through the Depression, Dust Bowl, and WWII, so they knew things that many of us have never even considered. I was a registered Democrat until after LBJ. Kennedy was the last Democratic President or candidate that held philosophical views similar to my own. I registered as Republican and have been that way ever since.

Just look at Oklahoma. It may still be that 50% of its voters are still Democrats, but it is the Reddest of the Red States, and has been since 2000 or before. Of course, I think they only started showing Red and Blue states in that 2000 Presidential election, so the state has been conservative for a lot longer than that.

She had a few ethics issues that seemed to disappear. Didn't know about the DUI. How did she skate on that and is there a vid of the arrest?
Post link please.

I searched well into the night and again this morning. I couldn't find an arrest but apparently she was pulled over for DUI while she was a prosecutor and pressured the sheriff's dept to let her go. I cant find any proof of it but I'm gonna keep looking.
