Pocket carry is pretty heavy IMO. My work dress isn't really very amenable to IWB. I've been using an Uncle Mike's ankle rig. I'm pretty happy with it and it didn't cost much.

I use a Blackhawk pocket holster for my 642.

If I am going to trouble with IWB or belt carry, I will carry a gun with 12-15 rounds of 9mm, instead of 5 rounds of .38.

I carry my 642 in a Galco pocket holster or a SmartCarry when unable to carry my full-size pistol IWB. I have a couple IWB holsters for the 642, but I find it just as easy to conceal something larger. In fact, for me, my Beretta 92 is more comfortable IWB than the smaller and lighter revolver.
