WOW!!! That really surprises me. As many years as I worked in nursing homes and hospitals I have only seen a few that got bad at all and none of those were life threatening.

If a patient is treated with proper protocol, it's very difficult for them to get bed sores.

Yep!!!! And all the hospitals and nursing homes I have worked in or dealt with tried very hard to prevent them.
