Dude, the SPAS-12 is the most abominable shotgun ever spawned. Have you ever tried to use one?

$500 I might bite just to throw one in the truck, but for less than $800 clams you can get a nice used Benelli M1 or M2 in 18.5", 21" or 24" variety which is the holy grail of practical shotguns!!

But it won't have 14+1 capacity.I'd rather have the FN than the Benelli.

From an unloaded condition, I bet I can load and fire a box of shells faster with a Benelli.

Try weakhand loading that thing. The gun would probably have to come off the shoulder because of the loading port location and because of the double tube design = total PITA. A 21" Benelli with a flush fitting mag tube holds 8+1 and you can get longer tubes to hold however many shells you want.

I'm not saying it's not a cool shotgun, but for me it's a novelty at best.
