i think the new shotgun looks great. and from a LEO's point of view i think it has a lot of great features

Isn't there a Benelli that's both pump and auto?

And don't a lot of the Rem 870 and 1100/11-87 parts interchange?

I guess the 1100 isn't really a "pump version" of the 870...

I guess maybe looking forward to a new iteration of the KSG that is semi auto would be more correct?

It would be more correct to say that semi auto shotguns have pump versions.

I didn't get to watch it at fully until just now. I was pretty excited when I first noticed the dual magazine tubes. I was a little sad that you manually have to switch between them, but it's still cool. Loading looks like it might be a little more akward, since the shells will be feeding in basically right next to your shoulder. Still pretty neat, though!

Not sure about Benelli but I do recall a Franchi SPAS-12 that was both pump and semi-auto. The "governator" used one in one of his movies.

The benelli M3 is like the SPAS.

They are ground up build for manual feeding/ejection.
I suppose you can make a pump option for a semi, but you cant really just slap on a gas system for a pump.
