My wife and I are house hunting, and tonight we saw a nice one that had already been 95% vacated by the former owners. I was looking through the nicely renovated bathroom (something I'd never do in a house still being occupied), and came across a bottom drawer full of tampons and a Kel-Tec PF-9 owner's manual.

So if that's your house, sorry for finding your giant cache of lady items and your gun book. I'll keep it in mind if we decide to make an offer… :lookaroun

I always look through old houses (not B&E, like when a family member or friend buys or rents a new house) for guns left on high shelves or in attics. I have yet to find one. I also still check pay phones for quarters.

When i bought my house i found bayonets for a M1 garand and a M14. Also found a flag from Wes Watkins and a 45 record of JF Kennedy.

I sold the bayonets at a gunshow.

I rented a house in a small town after I got out of high school. Got to poking around in the attic and came across a semi auto .22 that somebody did some custom repair on. I sent it back to the factory to be correctly repaired and got a nearly new rifle for next to nothing.
