Yesterday at Ray Kirk’s in Tahlequah we had our spring shop tour. Approximately 50 people attended the demos, tall gate sales, and dinner with iron-in-the-hat drawings. Ay Kirk did two demos. One was forging how to make crosses out of square stock and why you need to normalize steel before heat treating after forging. Buddy Thomas demoed forging a couple of knives. One out of 1095 and one of 1084. A young attendees was gifted the 1084 one. We have good visits. We had a good dinner and found new friends.
