I took the wife's Kimber Micro .380 to the range today and ran the crap out of it. (I actually only ran 150 rounds through it but considering the price of .380 ammo, that was enough to get a good feel for the pistol). The little Munchkin gun didn't miss a beat. It is surprisingly accurate and easy to handle and shoot despite its diminutive size. When she first got it, the trigger was right at 7lbs but now, after like 600 rounds down range, it's breaking at or about 6lbs. It's not bad for a little bugger. I prefer the upswept beavertail of the Kimber to the more mundane duck-bill looking thing stickin' off the back of its cousin, the Sig P238. Seems I can get more of my big fat mitts on the grip...anyway, I like the thing. I might even drop it in my pocket on occasion. I was really surprised at how well I shot it seeing as how I have never been worth a crap with little mouse guns like the steenkin' LCP, or the Kahr PM/CM-9. Musta been the SA trigger I reckon; it's far and away a better make-it-go-bang unit as far as I'm concerned.
