Crucible Industries, the maker of numerous knife steels, including S30VN, CruWear, MagnaCut, and anything that begins with CPM, is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy, and linked below is Dr. Larrin Thomas’s summary of what will be happening. Someone will make those. Now, for how much $ is the question that needs answered.
Also, remember tariffs aren’t cheap now and expected to get much steeper. So, if you’re wanting something from overseas and have the money, may want to go ahead and not delay.
