I am pretty sure these are my two largest folders, neither of them belt knives/sheathed, only clips. For those with very large pockets and britches to match, or carried IWB instead of a 1911, where I opt for the 1911 and these generally don't get out much, where a larger sheath knife I can stuff under belt opposite the 1911 for days I want to feel as if wearing a corset.

I had a Cold Steel Voyager like yours, once upon a time. Only mine was a partially serrated Gunsite edition.

That version of the Voyager was a later version with different zytel handle, and I believe the last of the zytel line, where mine was the earliest. The Spyderco was their one try and with an advertised world's strongest lock at going against Cold Steel and their Triad lock on a huge folder, where Cold Steel promptly tested them side by side with spine impact and raw weight and destroyed the Spyderco on video, which likely helped kill the project. The Spyderco was named Tatanka/buffalo likely inspired by watching Dances With Wolves too many times.
PS- the "weakness" of Spyderco has always been how little meat around hinge pin and shallow lock engagement, but the Tantanka is nearly 3/16ths" thick, so pretty academic past VG10 run harder not as tough as the AUS8 run softer. The Tantanka still a VERY strong folder.

Here are comparison shots of a Triad vs novel Tatanka lock...it's one of those "KISS" things where Demko a genius in figuring out a simple, cheap way of getting strength, the Spyderco more complex, more hinge points to beat loose, and as always, lacking meat around hinge, but still a very strong lock where only destructive testing could cause it to fail, it plenty strong for hardest actual use...one of those, "the only way to break it is to work hard at breaking it" deals...
