The company that made these went out of business years ago, but this is the best ground blind I’ve ever hunted out of. They’re really comfortable and easy to catch a nap in, and you can conceal them about anywhere. They’re made for rifle hunting, but you can use a crossbow if you’re really careful. I was in one when I killed my biggest buck in 2020.

I think I have one of those in the shop. Caught many naps in it!
In contrast to your statement, I've killed every one of my biggest bucks but one bow kill from a box blind. Probably because that's the only thing I hunt from now.

I wear glasses and never had an issue because all of my blinds are high. Even when using a 2X6 wedged into the crotch of a tree back in the day, tried to get at least 15' high.
This is what I do, I like to get as high as possible. When I’m bow hunting I think it helps a lot with smell control. I use climbing stands and hang-ons mostly but do have two ladder stands they just don’t get used much.

I have deer 🦌 hunted out of one of those too!

Use to have a big shooting bench in the back of my truck years ago, and after pulling up to a big field or power line clearing, I would lower a jack on each end of the rear bumper, level the bench, and deer from it all day long. I've killed many deer from that set up...

Way back in the day, I had a deer trail across a creek that looked like a super highway with a giant oak tree above it. I built a platform that was 6' X 6' with a cubby for sandwiches and so on in that tree that was 24' above that trail. Long shot to the ground.
The elderly lady I got permission from North of Blackwell said she had lived there for 80 years and never saw a deer, but if you want to waste your time, go ahead.
I killed 9 does and a couple bucks from that place before she died and the family sold it.
Always got into the stands at least an hour before daylight if not earlier, convinced at that time if any deer were disturbed by walking in, and hour or more would give them time to settle down and get back to their routine.
One morning, saw headlights on the neighbors place a hundred yards or so to the South before daylight.
About 30 minutes later, I hear someone climbing the spikes in the tree up to the platform. When his head came over the top, I hit him with a flashlight. He was so startled that he just about fell backwards but gathered himself. Asked him WTF was he doing at my deer stand? The first words out of his mouth was that he was a Blackwell LEO and had permission to hunt this property.
The discussion went south from there, and he left. Later that morning, killed the heaviest buck I've killed to date at 230lbs field dressed at the check station but was only a scrawny 7 point.
Back then, no feeders, no cameras, just a lot of time in the woods to connect.

There is a guy by Medford in Grant county that has a station wagon on a 20' tower. The story I got is that he got busted road hunting from it and made a blind from it to spite the GW in the county.
I've posted pics of it on OSA in the past.
