If I build an observation tower in my backyard so I can observe all my neighbor's pool parties, can they shoot at me too?
Don't know abut the shooting, but If they see you with optics, they might be able to have an issue? Dunno. Good thought.

The FAA says RC Aircraft can fly over ANY propery between 56ft to 400ft. That's our airspace.
As a owner of a "Killer Drone" or "Pervcopter", I'm extremely familiar with the FAA rules and laws pertaining to RC Air Craft. Constitutional Case laws says private property owners only own 55ft of air space above their property from ground level. Also shooting at RC Airplanes/Quadcopters is considered a felony under the Federal Goverment's Laws.
I've some knowledge of this case, and the drone owner had a telemetry sensor installed with a OSD. He also was recording to a DVR setup, so all of this has been captured, and he's been proven innocent. He didn't even fly over the guys property, he was flying on land that he had permission to fly on. Also most cameras on these setups can't zoom in, nor capture fine details from a distance.
So any Pervecopter would have to be pretty close to the subject. The FAA says RC Aircraft can fly over ANY propery between 56ft to 400ft. That's our airspace.
I don't know about the 55' deal, but drones are technically an aircraft.Citations, please. What case made it 55', and what law makes it a felony?
Here is a more generalized definition found from the FAA websiteAny machine that can derive support in the atmosphere from the reactions of the air other than the reactions of the air against the earth’s surface.
Aircraft means a device that is used or intended to be used for flight in the air.
