Well Generic Motors has inferior management and many of the decisions that they have made are stupid and will result in layoffs. Connect that with stupid policy from the White House and you have to get rid of some folks or sacrifice the entire company.

Goobermint Motors will survive, like they have times before.

Taxpayers will bail them out. Management will get a golden parachute.
New Management will get a platinum stock option.
Goobermint will collect 10% on bailout payback and call it even.
Taxpayers will take it like Spread Eagle on a yearly job eval.
