Lee Threaded shell holder tweak.

I could not get my Lee shell holder tight enough to keep from spinning cases out of the opening.
This is not a shell holder that inserts into a press this is threaded and has a lock stud.
Shell holder and case length gauge in the below picture.. that shell holder is threaded and attaches to a lock stud you can chuck up into a drill.

That is the threaded lock stud.
I had to use pliers and that galled the surface of the shell holder.

I fixed it by taking a BIG Nut and tweaking it to fit the shell holder and then welded the nut to the shell holder.. much better.

I can grip that.

I use a K&M product like this for turning case necks. It chucks up nice and tight to the case. Only problem is it will take skin off you hand if you’re not careful attaching the case while getting on the drill trigger. I use a mechanic glove on my left hand now.

Yep looks like it could use some slight beveling and polishing on the machined edges.
I can't seem to leave anything stock.
