Hey wormy....how long is that handguard in reality? I know it's sold as 13", but I'm wondering if it will cover a low-pro gas block on a rifle length 18" barrel.

Ehh they're all on paper and a piece of paper is about center mass size. But at least I'm out shooting and not just taking pictures.

I really have no idea about the true length. My friend cole built an 18" rifle and it covers his larue gasblock, I think.

FWIW, I have a 12.5" Rifle Length Forearm over an 18" barrel w/ intermediate length gas system (1.5" shorter than rifle length).

Sooo, looks like it will either be close or wont cover it completely.

I just asked cole and he said it doesn't completely cover the gas block.

Thats freaking awesome i didnt think they had a 10mm setup for AR's yet. Probably not as cheap to shoot at 9mm though......

Ahh, yeah, that's the Novekse pipe, eh?

I guess I'll go with something longer...the MI SS15, I think. Can't see spending $330+ on the LaRue or DD.
