Good for .30 cal obviously, but what's it like with 5.56? Any significantly noticable difference from a dedicated 5.56 can?

Just as quiet as any 556 can. Extra volume compensates for the larger bore aperture. You get less blowback as well witch is a nice bonus. Trade off is bigger and heavier.

He bought sights, but went with the Magpul airsoft stuff, and they dont fit apparently. He was gonna use them till he got optics mounted, as he said once that happened, he would have no need for BUIS (so to speak)
