Well, I do have to agree I have seen some 1911's that some silly person uglied up. But those 1911's can be rescued and brought back to their glorious beginnings. A Glock on the other hand started out ugly, but it is ok cause they are a trusty piece that will never let you down as long as you take care of them.
Cool. Who did the cerakote? I like the lighter color on the upper and the pumpkin-blood color on the lower.
dennishoddy, post: 3073277, member: 5412"]
dennishoddy, post: 3073277, member: 5412"]

I hope Y'all know I'm just trolling the glock folks. I tried my best to get the wife a G43 for her CC, but she couldn't wrap her head around not having a safety. She chose the Sig P938
Awww, we know. I just happen to like cheap Glocks. And I also like expensive 1911's. And I will never not like J-Frames. And more and more, I find myself drawn to large frame heavy, hard hitting revolvers. What I don't like is cheap, poorly made and unreliable junk guns, cheap belts and crappy holsters. I find it odd that there are other groups outside Glockoholics who are fastidiously in love with certain guns like the Walther PP series, and Colt 1911 pistols that take little to no abuse over their chosen "objet de infatuationie" as do Glockophylles. Perhaps it is because they love those firearms mostly for their name alone and not their functionality?
After shooting DHoddy's big revolver I have been looking at .44 magnums and 45LC's. Just have not found the right deal yet , so being patient . My next gun I buy will be a Glock 29 or 20. Waiting on the next gathering of gun folks to hopefully talk a certain feller into letting me check out his G29 to see how it feels in hand. Coarse calling his pistols ugly little bricks is prolly the wrong way to start the request, but no one has ever accussed me of being tactful, just ask the wife !! Hey its Friday!!! Cheers!
Well you got to shoot the Mighty G29; so fess up there and tell us what you think. It is becoming my favorite pistol purty darn quick. I like the light weight, the power of the hotter loads, and the joy of recoil. That sucker punches a big hole! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
