I kid you not my buddies neighbor had a pristine dark brown mid 70's nova under his carport that never moved.
I told him to ask the neighbor sometime when he is home if he would sell it.
My buddy dropped the ball and a week later the Nova was gone.
He sold it for $350.00

Another buddy downer was a Bandit edition TA 1977 that was a 1 owner garage kept no rust or flaws and low miles.
My friend knew the guy and loved those cars and had a non T top 1977 TA himself.
This guy told my buddy he was selling the car and would let my friend have it for $750.00
Yes 750 bucks.
My friend did not have the money, I told him i would loan him the money no interest as you do not want that deal to get away.
I told him every day for a week to take the money.
He declined and the guy sold it to someone else after 2 weeks.
So for the next 2 years I would see him and say : Hey Bandit how's it going.
FU was his reply and my reply was you deserve it idiot.
I told him before it was sold if you do not want to buy it I will buy it and he assured me he was buying it.
