Remington is having its fair share of QC issues as well as loose tolerances in machining from what I've read.  Even Colt appears to be having an abundance of recalls lately though, so I guess once you get to be the big boy on the block, you gotta hire some lawyers and enact some stupid weasel rules that totally take away from your QC and R&D departments.</blockquote>
