I would like to get a lever action 22 rifle. Does anybody know of one that loads like the larger caliber ones? One where a door opens on the receiver as you push in each cartridge. All that I have seen are tube fed, or clip fed like the Ruger.

Thanks Moboost. I was about to decide nobody knew. I had a Stevens Favorite once, but it was a falling block design. I will see if I can find the model 30.
Model 30 is a falling block. What about Ithica 49.
I know Ithaca made both single shot and repeating 49's and also made a magnum. We have a single shot. Falling block action. The schematic I have seen for the repeater is not really clear but it looks like the tube is loaded from the front. Maybe someone has a better schematic.
