Liberty Civil Defense Ammo

Has anyone shot the Civil Defense Ammo by Liberty Ammunition?

They make very light grained ammunition with very high velocities (40 S&W is 60 grains @2000fps). I assume it is to lighten the load in your carry pistol and not have unintentional hits due to over-penetration, but I wanted to know if anyone could tell me how they perform at the range or in ballisitics gel, ect... compared to other heavier rounds. Thanks.

Thanks Merc. Good article. Looks like the 45 ACP would be a decent defense load, but I am still curious how it would perform through heavy jackets, ect... in the winter time.
