I need some assistance. I'm looking for a light for my wheelchair, so I don't run over anything in the dark. Now that said, I know we add light to shotguns on occasion and I'm wondering where I can get a mounting bracket for a one inch tube. I've a shotgun I bought that has one on it but I don't know where the bracket came from. After looking through some catalogues, like Cabela's and Bass Pro I don't see any there. So could you folks give me some assistance of where to look? Putting two brackets on both sides of my wheelchair seat, will keep me from things like dropping one wheel off the deck and falling 10 feet in a wheelchair. The fall is a lot of fun for an old guy like me it's just the sudden stop that hurts. Droping a wheel off a curb lands you on your side in the street at night. See because I fall a lot... I use a seatbelt in my chair to keep me from falling out of it. I just mean that... where ever the chair goes so do I.

Thanks ahead of time.

Stan, look at bicycle handlebar mounted lights at any good bicycle shop. Bicycle handlebars range in diameter from 7/8" (the old std.) to 1 1/8" (the emerging std), and most lights nowadays come with adapters included, so you should have no trouble finding one to fit a 1" diameter bar. They can range in price from $15-$20 on the low end, to as high as you can imagine on the high end, but I'm sure you can find something that would work for you at any decent bike shop.

They probably have the perfect solution for you at Wal-Mart, believe it or not!
I had been wanting to mount a flashlight on my 12 gauge for quite some time but just never committed to buying one online...
While perusing the newly expanded selection of goodies at my local wally world, I found it! $15 later, I had a S&W torch on my shotty, finally.
Fifteen bucks, dude! Works like a charm and I couldn't be happier about it.
It's a "Nebo Protech" and I would buy it over and over again if I had to. http://www.nebotools.com/prod_details.php?id=137&cid=29
