Just brought the second one up. He is in really good spirits.

It's actually really awe-inspiring watching this. 2 months of underground "captivity", for lack of a better word, the engineering feats that are helping them to the surface, and the heartfelt reactions of the loved ones make it hard to not watch.

Glad to see someone with a serious post on this subject. What these guys have gone through is truly amazing. To be stuck underground for 69 days, 17 of which without contact from the outside world. I would have lost it many times over, but these guys are getting pulled out with smiles on their faces.

I also have to comment about the Chilean president. You can tell just how much he cares about those miners. There to hug each of them as they come out... Obama would be too busy posing for photo opportunities to worry about hugging...

You know, I don't really cry at much on tv ... but when they brought that second miner out and he started hugging EVERYBODY I lost it.

They look amazingly good ... thank goodness.
