Long gun purchase by GA resident

I'm a resident of Georgia, but will be visiting in Oklahoma. If I happened to see a rifle I liked at an FFL dealer while I am there, would I be able to purchase it and leave the store with it (of course after passing the background check)? I've read that residents of adjoining states could do that, but since Georgia is halfway across the country, I'm not sure if it would require shipping to a GA FFL.

Th adjoining state rule is an old rule. Now long guns to out of staters is fine as long as it's not prohibited where they are from.
