I've got some cash burning a hole in my pocket and wanting another Bergara. Kinda prefer a hunting rig, something light weight with CF stock or CF barreled models.

Springfield Waypoint is high on the list too
Might even look at a Sig Cross or folding stock Christensen Arms in 6.5 Creedmoor

Never owned one. Most of the battle profiles I've seen were kinda thin for my tastes. There is something about that Bergara Premier action that blows my kilt up high

My vote's on a Tikka T3X...IMO literally the best out of the box rifle you can get for the money. They make wood stocked, polymer stocked, and tactical stocked in all flavors.
Bergara's are ok, but don't swing it like a Tikka.

I don't doubt for a second they may be a better rifle, but the look needs to grow on me some. It's been 700 since I was 6 for me. I had a Model 70 once, but that was it.

My boss and another Cpt have been pushing Tikka hard as well.

700's are the Toyotas of the gun world. They're cool, loud, kinda fast in a squirrel sorta way, but they aren't Porches no matter how much you try to church them up. lol
