That makes sense, I wouldn't put anything over on the liberal states, they'll do anything to the citizens. The way they spend taxes and fund homeless and welfare programs at the cost of increasing taxes on everything is the way to drive taxpayers out of the states and cities. And when revenue is down they turn to the federal government for funding and you can bet Biden will fund them. Without federal aid the states like California will fold and crumble.

Yes, California now defines any theft of merchandise up to $995 to be a misdemeanor, NOT a felony... and numerous police departments [San Francisco, etc] have indeed formally instructed their police officers to avoid making any effort to enforce misdemeanors. Other police departments [Los Angeles, etc] admit - as quietly as possible - that their officers are simply unwilling to risk injury or lawsuits as a result of enforcement efforts against criminals for "merely" misdemeanor crimes. Further, commercial enterprises [Walgreens, CVS, etc] instruct their private security officers to avoid interfering with shoplifters.
