This is clearly racism, trying to cover those perfectly good BLACK roads with WHITE roads.

Isn't that racist painting streets white? Where is BLM when they really could be of use? May as well outlaw all colors of cars except for white ones.

At $40k a mile, how does LA expect to pay for this???
They would have had better luck writing a law mandating refrigerators be left open to cool the city.
I see this as putting people to work doing work that doesn't need to be done for the sake of saving jobs. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Google said 7300 miles of roadway in LA. It’s only gonna cost $292,000,000.00 every 7 years to paint the streets.
