Not sure if I should got with basset or sadlak scope mount for my sa m1a wondering opinions on each

I had an ARMS #18 and liked it a lot. It was solid, and sat so low that when an optic wasn't mounted, I could see my full iron sight picture over the top of it.

I posted this in another thread:

I took a different route and went with the CASM mount. Mounts very, very solid. Couldn't be happier. In all honesty, you'll need something on your stock to get proper cheek weld by mounting a scope and by doing this, you won't be able to really use your irons anyway.
