The one with the 10 inch barrel has a good wallop but it's not as bad as you think. I'm supposed to be in queue to buy one of their 500 bushwhacker setups --- that's expected to be a kicker.

It's one of those guns where, after a first shot, you find it about 10yds behind the shooter, if not embedded in their forehead. Just about every .454 shooter I know has notched their forehead once when losing concentration, and such recoiling handguns no joke, I recall when the .500 S&W came out, a kid was allowed to try it in TX and it killed the boy.

It'd be worse than the time I loaded up my Colt Anaconda with some BB 340gr hardcast and pulled the trigger. Memorable, but not a fun experience.
