Lady mail carrier, fairly regular and friendly, but has her monthly moments.
Mom had mailbox on porch and front door handicap service. On a drive route, so mail lady had to stop, get out, walk mail to door. Bills, letters got delivered. Junk rarely.
Mom passed, I'm in hospital with Fauci flu. Get out of hospital and moved into Mom's house. Received notice THE NEXT DAY, mailbox needed on curb!
No mail delivered for 4 days. I mounted mailbox on an 8' 4x4 and put beside street.
Get notice from PO, mail must be picked up at PO.
Wif goes to pick up mail. Postmaster starts yelling at her about the mailbox. She informs him, I had been in hospital, was on oxygen, mailbox was moved, he was an ******* and complaint had been filed with Senator, Congressman and PostMaster General. She had my hospital records and a picture of mailbox. He smugly stated, "not his problem."
No mail delivered for a week, then miraculously, she delivered everything. Apologies for any inconvenience and the postmaster was no longer at this office.
Haven't had any problems.
