Thats likely true. Sadly, the common folk are who are victimized by the system because they can't pay to fight it. We do not have a justice system in this country, we have a legal system, and what it metes out is rarely justice.

The rich and famous of Manhattan tend to support Democrat candidates, much as the rich and famous of Hollywood do.

Nah, he's no danger to society, so they'll make an example out of him. If he'd been a mobster with 30 convictions for violent felonies, they'd just have let him walk...
