The US Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Oklahoma is pleased to announce that the 2022 Marine Corps Birthday Luncheon will be held at The Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, 7000 NW Grand Blvd., Nichols Hills, OK 73116 on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 1030 to 1330. Banquet room doors will open at 1100 for the placing of nametags. Complimentary beer and cigars will be available on the terrace after the luncheon.
Guest of Honor will be Sergeant Major Mike Lanpolsaen, USMC (Ret).
For Our Traditions and Lore segment we will recount the history of the interwar period between WW I and WW II, where our Corps experienced a period of great transition and developed both the "Small Wars Manual" and the "Amphibious Doctrine" that would be used throughout the war to come.
