Just thought I would share a couple pictures of a neat little rifle that I did a little cleaning on today. This is my first experience with one.
It was a lever action Marlin 39, .22LR. The owner (who is part of the forum and will probably chime in) came over with it today to see if we could take off a substantial amount of surface rust that had built up after many years.
Anyway, it was a neat old rifle, and I thought some of you may like it. The owner has an interesting story about where it's heading too... but I'll reserve that story for him.
And yes, the pictures are taken with my Android... it's just so easy...
half of the receiver done:
All finished (yeah, I know I didn't take many "before" pictures, but I was eager to get started)
