I am a 32nd degree Scottish rite mason and and also a member of the shrine. I received the degrees in Guthrie. I am also a inn keeper there. The old part of the building is a dorm with the ballroom you see in the picture in the middle. I can tell you there is more to see in that building than you could believe. I think what stands out most to me is never seen, the pipe organ is the second largest in north America the pipes take up 6 full size rooms with the pipes ranging from the size of a pencil to bigger than a five gallon bucket.
The old Tulsa downtown lodge was cool . And the photos I seen of the first Shrine temple in Tulsa were alot the scottish rite buildings . Akdar Shrine ( Tulsa ) is 100 years old , Shrine it's self is 150 .
