A lot of talk about civil war here re: tyranny. History has shown us that every tyranny that ever existed thru out the entire existence of mankind has been taken down (usually violently) when the people over which it reigned were pushed beyond all reasonable limits. EVERY - SINGLE - ONE. It may have taken generations of abuse before the people reached their breaking point but that point is always, inevitably reached. The USA is not exempt from the rule as some believe. I used to believe the breaking point would be reached in the USA within the next 50 to 75 years. Now? Well - I look around and see examples of brave and principled citizens willing and able to take concerted action. Some of those inclined to action may even be members of this forum. On the other hand one also sees the fat, dumb and happy who could care less about what liberties they lose as long as they've got a beer in one hand, a teat in the other while what ever mindless entertainment they prefer is noisily blasting away in the background. IMO the 2nd group outnumbers the 1st by about 100,000 to 1 which makes it extremely unlikely that there's gonna be any risin' up any time soon in the good ole USA. When the breaking point is finally reached, and it will be, I predict that there'll be enough sheep who turn to wolves who are willing to fight and die, regardless of the odds, that the tyranny will be brought down just like every other tyranny man has endured has been brought down. The wolves will disappear into the woodwork to soon be forgotten. The sheep will go back to their incessant bleating - probably even louder than before. The appeasers will keep on appeasing. There'll be new leadership and new laws. The forgotten but not gone wolves will go on about their business until the times and circumstances once again call them forth.
