"Old guard" republicans need to wake up and stop unconditionally apologizing for the system when it is abused by authoritarians. This is the kind of stuff Trudeau does in Canada.
EDIT: I do not approve of the snarky lib reporter claiming racism later in the video when some of the cops and the national guard member were the same race as he was. So in that respect, this makes this incident even worse, because when the cops don't know what freedom of the press is, it feeds the lefist narrative about the police. I am still shocked at the frequency of these kinds of issues despite there being body cams and cell phones everywhere these days.
