Unfortunately miliary surplus in OKC isn't as good as it used to be.

In the way back machine you had Mashburn before they went bad.

Then you had Southwest Shooters and Outdoor America which both were pretty good until recently.

And in the last few Brigadoons was really good until they gave up their FFL.

Now Bigboys has some as does C&J (over priced), but it just doesn't seem as good as it used to be.

Luckily we have Dallas Militaria and the Tulsa shows to get our .mil fix.

Mashburns was the coolest old-school gun store. Anyone emember Andy Anderson's?

I bought my first AR at mashburn Arms when they were on Penn.
Gene Sears has been around as long as I can remember. and I remember some of the "Summer of Love" and Howdy Doody, so my memory goes back a ways. But living where I live, I have made it in to Gene Sears only once.

Mashburns was the first big gun store I ever entered. I was about 25 at the time. A friend took me over there. Talk about drooling. I'd never seen anything like it in my life. Trust me, Geronimo, OK had nothing to compare. Of course I was too poor to buy anything, but it sure was fun to look.
