M63 “Tanker” in 308 win. Made by Zastava in Serbia. 99-95% condition only 100 or so rounds through it. No stripper clips so the top of the receiver is pristine. Perfect shiny blued finish. Shoots great. Very accurate. I have a lot of milsurps I love shooting but this is to nice to take out without really taking care of it and mausers tend to interest me the least out of my other rifles. Chambered in 308 so any off the shelf 308 will work in it. A fun rifle to shoot or hold I’ve never seen another Mauser in this condition.
Germany never used a “Tanker” Mauser specifically but close to a dozen countries including Germany used short carbine mausers just like this before and during ww2 into the 50’s. So historically it is a great modern example of one of those very common rifles used all over the world but “Tanker” kind of a misnomer.
