Retake and reposition for photo to be anatomically correct. They're his, not ours. From our point of view the bigger one should be on the right, it's supposed to hang a little lower. Now, after saying that, I feel a bit foolish saying " I really like them."

Nice ones! As someone who likes blued guns better than stainless, I somehow end up with stainless guns more often than I should. I have a 66, 629, plus two 65's at the moment...

I do think the ideal collection of S&W revolvers would be the 29, 28 and 27, all with the same barrel length. I am not sure if the 28 was available to the general public or even to police outside of the Michigan State Police.

Oh yes, 28's galore. workin man's 27 (LE, no frills). IIRC, 4 & 6". And like most all Smiths, have appreciated in price past few years.
