I agree with the philosophy but are stickers like that (pro gun/second amendment) a red flag to attract thieves to your vehicle or a deterrent?

*edit* I come back to this thread and the first ting I notice I misspelled the word similar. Sorry about that, these things happen you know.

I never thought of stickers on the car such as these as a theft deterrent, but I suppose I would think twice of doing a home invasion if I saw a pro-gun sticker on the back of an F-250. I might look for another house with a Prius with an Obama sticker on the back, to reduce the chances of catching a nasty case of lead poisoning.

I totally agree with flybeech....if I were a badguy...I would not mess with a house or a vehicle that had pro gun stickers on it...that's just an invitation to get shot in my opinion.

Deterrent. My service van has NRS stickers on it and is always parked outside and in some rough locations while I'm out on service calls. 3 Times I've watched crooks scope out the van until they see the stickers and they back off. Im sure one will eventually ignore them but its worked for 13 years now.

I have the original Molon Labe in Greek on my truck (*just put it on last week). No one knows what it means. Even my cop friends who are ex-military have no clue.

Yeah, the Molon Labe sticker people have no clue but if you put Glock stickers or S&W or NRA stickers then I think more people would know what it meant.

In any case I would guess if anythin it'd be a deterent. I think you need to add an option that says "No effect" though.

If you get an intelligent thief, it could be a deterrent. But if its just an ignorant one, he might not know what the stickers mean.

I personally dont have any stickers on my vehicles, even the ones that they came with from the dealer.

I don't think it makes a differance, because most people like was stated before dont know what it means, I've had one on my truck for several years.
