I had to learn the PoA in Spanish when I was in 5th grade. I still remember it.

Last I checked, the USA has no official language. No matter what language you say it in, English, French, German, Souix, Cherokee, Spanish, Dutch, Russian,... or Arabic (ewwwww, oh noes!) you are still pledging your allegiance to the United States of America...

I don't see anywhere in the story that Fox has an opinion on it either way, it looks like they are just reporting a story.
On the other hand, I can't see anything wrong with reciting the PoA in any language, as long as someone is pledging allegiance to the flag and the United States of America they are ultimately on my side and I'll stand with them.

On a side note, my mom likes to remind me how I refused to say the Reagan-esque "Drug Free Pledge" in front of my principal in grade school. To the point where they called her down to school because I was the only one that wouldn't do it.
