Most millenials want to live in a socialist or communist society

People mature and political views change. At the time most Millennials were not home owners and were drowning in student loan debt. Now most are homeowners with families. Every generation deals with their young, inexperienced hip views. Take the hippies of the past, I’m sure the majority are pot smoking conservatives now. Besides Millennials have gone through a lot, the Gulf War, domestic and foreign terrorism, the Enron BS, a multi-generational war, Obama’s housing crisis, and now Biden’s failed presidency. I’d be more worried about illegal immigration and the mental health crisis that is the alphabet mafia’s agenda. FYI I’m a Millennial and all of my peers are conservative leaning.

The Millennials are waring with Gen-Z now. The irony is enjoyable LOL. Many of the hippies you mention are still in the gov't...They got a foothold under Clinton and thrived under Obama and now still trying to hold onto their influence in Washington and the administrative state.

Very true, although capitalism was still a very active force in their economy. Even under Nazism one could argue about the influence of capitalism, one could also argue that for whatever reasons many great scientists came out of Eastern Europe in the 1890's through the mid 1900's. Liquid fueled rockets (Goddard) were also a US invention speaking of Werner Von Braun from Germany.

In general though, one really has to examine if the US truly has a capitalistic economy, we did up until 1913. However history is always open to misinterpretation. The way I look at socialism it is just a polite term for communism. Democratic socialism is a fallacy, everything will never be put to a vote.
