Can someone tell me what the "slide melt" involves? I assume it is something that makes it easier to carry. I've always been under the impression that the trigger on the stock M&P was one of the best. What advantage is there to having a custom one installed?

I went to the range today, And let me tell you it shoots like a rifle, dead on, and the trigger is just to sweet. I am going to name it 73 cause it shoots like a rifle.
