^^^^THIS. Not to mention that it is the same as the other arguments... it will require a ban on private sales between individuals, as every purchase must be verified to have insurance. Have to go through a dealer, which means no private sales and records must be kept to verify insurance.

Plus likely ongoing insurance verification and checks. And taxation on that insurance, more money for the .gub.

They never left. "Baloney Maloney" has introduced this same bill every year since she was elected from NY, vowing to end private ownership of firearms anyway she can, following the shooting on the NY train.......a non-starter bill even when democrats ruled the Congress

When I got my guns stolen in a home burglary, the insurance company covered me for the maximum amount they allowed. Serial numbers or descriptions were never required prior to or after the crime. That was Farm Bureau.

USSA has never asked me for a description of my guns, or SN, but they are covered.
