I am thinking about buying a Nordic Compnents NC 22 Upper as a Christmas present to myself. If I do purchase on I would like to mount a set of BUIS on it. My question is should I just by a section of screw on rail to add to the handguard tube or would it be wiser to add a railed gas block in front of the tube. Eventually I will probably mount a red dot and flip to side magnifier but would rather have the irons to begin with.
