I have a surefire weapon light that uses the p60 bulbs, and the one in it burnt up. Looking for a decent LED drop in module, single mode. Nothing too expensive, or I'll just drop a kx4 on there as they are 65 bucks on amazon. DX, meritline, amazon etc is where I'd like to purchase from, but there are so many choices! Thanks in advance.

I have bought several flashlights and P-60 LEDs from Deals Extreme and always got a good product at a great price, just have to wait 3 or 4 weeks to get it. For my Surefire 6P incandescent I bought a R2 drop-in LED and it has a lot of throw and is very bright and they have several LEDs that are brighter (like the XM-L) but for a weapon light you probably want throw. So I would recommend an R2 or R5 P-60 LED and it should be around 10 bucks shipped.
I am seeing the R5 for $40 and up. Where did you find them for $10?
Check Lumaforce for Cree drop-ins at a decent price. I went with the XML, but that requires modding the light body to accept 18650 rechargeable batteries (which was well orth it!).
