Ok guys I am in need of a service belt, cuffs (2), cuff holder, stage II holster, 1000 rounds of ammo, pants, etc. Where in the world is the cheapest place to buy this stuff? or stuff that is used? I will be starting the academy soon and need to purchase, barter, donate, etc. I can get more specifics of what I need on Wednesday evening. Anything I should stay away from because of quality. etc?

There's a police supply place within a mile of H&H but I can't remember the name of the place. Relatively small building but has everything you will need. I've been in there a couple times, I'm terrible at remembering street names. It's street that runs parallel next to the OSU police training building.

You need to stay away from the cheapest if you want any quality. There is a place off of I-240 and Walker called Patrol Technology that has everything that you could possibly need as a Peace Officer. They do not carry the cheap UTG crap, most of the items they carry can be bought by anyone, some of the items will need a valid commission card before they can sell to you.

I'll have to go through my gear first, but I probably have extra's on everything you need with the exception of the ammo.

What academy are you going to that you only need 1k rounds of ammo? IIRC we used somewhere around 2500-3000.

what style of gear you needing? nylon or leather? If it's leather, what kind plain, baskweave ect? Online I usually buy from lapolicegear.com. Fast dependable shipping. loacal i buy from C.O.P.S. products on agnew and Reno or Special Ops if my agency is buying. I can tell you dont order anything thru Special Ops. If it aint in stock it'll take weeks. If you order Safariland anything from anybody and it's not in stock expect to wait 3-6 mos. They rotate what their making and keep almost nothing on hand to ship out. Been waiting on repair parts (warranty) for my duty holster for 4 weeks so far. Thier holsters are top notch but they can drive you nuts waiting for something. Goodnews is you can find it somewhere in stock just maybe not for the price you wanna pay.

I have some old basketweave stuff cheap I dont need if that'll halp ya. PM me and we'll work something out.
