Oh zastava. Yea man lots of smart ak guys on this forum. Whats going on with it?
I traded for one today with 150 rounds through it {very dirty} I don't think it has ever been cleaned
gave it a good cleaning then started to reassemble it but I cannot get the gas piston and the bolt to go back into the receiver.
I have taken my Saiga apart and put it back together and never had that problem.
Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Be sure the bolt is rotated ccw all the way towards the front of the carrier and the carrier is back against the trunnion when you press it down. Im sure the hammer is cock back right 
. They have a detent button on the side of the receiver you have to press to get the recoil spring assembly in but i dont think that should effect the bolt carrier
