Thanks Quick Draw, I've been to that thread its the only one I've ever found. I've been researching the Parker and Hale but can't find anything linking it to A&F. I appriciate the input.

Abercrombie & Fitch was a huge sporting goods operation in the first half of the 20th Century. Think of an early Cabela's, only bigger. They outfitted expeditions and safaris.

They had rifles and shotguns made up for them by various manufacturers and they usually bore the A&F label.
