I like that method although it does leave the officer very close to someone that could be shooting out of the back of the vehicle once they are tethered.
The old method to spin them out put the officer in danger as well but once spun out they can maintain a safer distance? Don’t know, just speculation on my part.
I can see a huge value in stopping a vehicle that has innocents inside from a hijacking though.

Yeah but it isnt new i was going to say 5 years ago it came out but the video said in 2016 is when it came out i watch several videos of it when he first developed it and his biggest problem was the police depts he talked to wasnt willing to pay what he was asking. California should of been the first to get it with as many car chases they have it would stop alot of them instead of letting the chase go on for 30 to 40 miles and some longer.
